The rebranding work 88 Brand Partners did for the Greater Chicago Food Depository has won a 2021 Indigo Design Award. This is a prestigious international design competition with entries from all over the world; the work won a silver award in the NGO & Non-profit category.
The Food Depository needed an evolution of their brand to reflect the full scope of their mission—not just to provide food to the hungry, but to end hunger in the community. We created a logo and a visual language that includes a proprietary typeface. We also developed messaging to create a voice for the brand.
At 88, we are honored to be part of the efforts of this iconic organization as they have an ongoing positive impact on the lives of those in our community. Of course, the Food Depository’s goal is not to win awards for the work they do. Neither is ours. Working together, we both focused on their mission, helping end hunger for our neighbors.
