Graphic Design Intern

A couple things of importance:

  • Start in February/March (official start date will depend on hiring date and your schedule)
  • Program will run for 12 weeks, Monday–Friday, full time, with potential to extend
  • Paid internship

Must be local to Chicago. Currently working remote.

Required Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently obtained a degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Communication Design, Advertising, Art Direction or other related degree
  • Portfolio showcasing your design work
  • Strong technical knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Possess articulate presentation skills and an extreme attention to detail
  • Passion for impactful digital, interactive, print and social experiences
  • A strong interest in marketing and advertising principles
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively juggle multiple tasks

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with senior team members to design client solutions that meet requirements outlined in creative briefs
  • Assist with creating/organizing appropriate assignments for creative staff—this includes making edits to documents, preparing comps, mood boards and client presentations, among other responsibilities
  • Handling various team-related administrative tasks
  • Staying on top of latest industry trends and news and keeping team informed
